Richard S. Thomas is the author of the Earther Wizard Series. An Epic Fantasy adventure that chronicles Colin Duncan’s journey of discovery across two planets.
He is a U.S. Navy veteran who served two tours in Vietnam.
In his younger years, Richard chased adventure—skydiving, scuba diving, and hang gliding. At 27, he married the woman of his dreams. It was a good move—they’re still happily married.
He spent the next fifty years as a serious woodworker. His award-winning work has been featured in exhibitions and magazines. But when macular degeneration began to take away his eyesight, Richard turned to a decades-old dream of writing.
A lifelong reader with a deep love of story, he understands what it takes to keep readers turning pages. He has poured a lifetime of experience into his writing so that everyone who reads his books will be glad they did. Whether working with wood or words, he brings craftsmanship, care, and creativity to everything he builds.
He and his wife reside in Southern California, where they enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
